We have established this Donation Refund Policy to provide clarity on our procedures regarding donation refunds. Please review this policy carefully.
Finality of Donations
Donations made to Universal Aid Charitable Trust are final and non-refundable, except in specific cases where a donor has a genuine reason for requesting a refund. The decision to approve or decline a refund request rests solely with the Trustees or Authorized Signatories, and we reserve the right to deny any refund request at our discretion.
Eligibility for Refunds
While donations are generally non-refundable, we recognize that errors can occur or circumstances may change. In such cases, donors may request a refund under the following conditions:
• Request Time Frame: Refund requests must be submitted within 5 days from the date of the donation.
• Request Submission: To request a refund, please send an email to contact@uactrust.org or uact2023@gmail.com with the reason for the refund and relevant transaction details.
Refund Processing
• Evaluation: Each refund request will be carefully reviewed by the Trust. We may request additional information or documentation to support the refund request. Donors are expected to cooperate with any such requests.
• Refund Deduction: If a refund is approved, 30% to 50% of the original donation amount may be deducted. The deducted amount will be allocated towards the Trust's charitable activities. This deduction is necessary to cover administrative costs and other related expenses.
Limitation of Liability
Universal Aid Charitable Trust is not obligated to process refunds and retains the discretion to decline any refund request. The decision of the Trustees or Authorized Signatories regarding refund requests is final.
Legal Action
By making a donation, donors acknowledge that they have read and understood this policy. Any legal actions related to refunds will not be entertained and also not admissible in the courts, as donors have agreed to these terms prior to making their donation.
